The working principle of the synchronous belt and the introduction of the precautions


The synchronous belt is a strong layer of steel wire rope or fiberglass, with a ring belt of polyurethane or neoprene rubber. The inner circle of the belt is made into a tooth shape, which makes it meshed with the gear wheel.

The synchronous belt transmission is composed of a circular strip with the equal spacing teeth and the corresponding wheel. It combines the advantages of drive, chain drive and gear transmission. When rotating, the power is transmitted through the tooth groove of the tooth and the wheel. The synchronous belt transmission has accurate transmission ratio, no slip difference, can obtain constant speed ratio, the transmission is stable, can absorb vibration, the noise is small, the transmission ratio is large, generally can reach 1:10. Allow the linear speed to reach 50 m/S, transmitting power from several watts to 100 kw. Characteristics of synchronous belt

Synchronous belt classification
Synchronous belt with trapezoidal tooth and two types of arc tooth, arc tooth has three series: arc-gear (H series is also called HTD belt), flat circular arc tooth (S series is also called STPD) and concave parabolic tooth series (R).
Trapezoidal tooth synchronous belt
Trapezoidal tooth synchronous belt has two sides with a single surface and two sides. It is short for single zone and double side band. The double-sided band is divided into symmetrical teeth (codename DA) and staggered tooth type (codename DB).
Trapezoidal tooth synchronization has two sizes: pitch and module. China adopts the pitch system, and the corresponding standard GB/T 11361-11362-1989 and GB/T 11616-1989 are developed according to ISO 5296.
Arc tooth synchronous belt.
In addition to the shape of the tooth shape, the structure is basically the same as the trapezoidal tooth synchronous belt. The pitch of the band is similar to that of the trapezoidal teeth. The tooth height, root thickness and the radius of the root of the tooth are larger than the trapezoidal teeth. After loading, the stress distribution state is better, the stress concentration of the root is gently, and the bearing capacity of the tooth is improved. Therefore, the synchronous belt of the arc tooth is larger than the trapezoidal tooth synchronous belt and can prevent the tooth interference in the meshing process.
Arc tooth synchronous belt with good abrasion resistance, low noise at work, no lubrication, can be used in the bad environment with dust. It has been widely used in food, automobile, textile, pharmaceutical, printing and paper-making industries.
